Lift the ban on the 117

1) While we support the necessity for enforcement of a code of conduct for members of the Guild Wars Community, we do not believe that the banning of these members without a warning was in the best interest of the Guild Wars community as a whole.
2) We do not believe that majority of the 117 were acting maliciously or deliberately against the interest of the Guild Wars Community.
3) We are offended by the arbitrary nature of the measures taken by Arena Net, in that the 117 members unfortunate enough to be banned were not all of the members who had made that infraction, and that other more serious infractions have come to be considered to be both commonplace and un-policed, e.g. "Slaver's Exile" and "Duncan"
4) We believe that a clarification of the Terms of Conduct and User Agreement is necessary IMMEDIATELY, in that there are a number of apparent conflicts between items in said document and practices supported by the architecture of the game, not limited to: the clash between rule 8 of the Terms of Conduct, that "You may not market, promote, advertise, or solicit within the Guild Wars game or on the official Guild Wars websites" yet marketing, promotion and advertising of items is supported by the game. Until clarification of the entirety of the legal position regarding use of the Guild Wars product has been issued an amnesty should be issued to users who have misunderstood their responsibilities as users of said product and specifically the 117 banned users should have their accounts reinstated.
5) As users who have enjoyed the Guild Wars product or other concerned individuals, we, the undersigned, are concerned that the this sudden seeming shift in behavior of Arena Net in policing Guild Wars may be a part of a decline in the care toward the users of said product that may end in a similar result as other MMOs, e.g. Star Wars Galaxies or Earth and Beyond. We seek immediate reassurance that this is not the case, both in word, and deed, specifically the reinstatement of the 117 banned users.
