As Jets fans, we all prepare for the heartache and disappointment of a Jets regular season, but somehow, with all the preparation, it still hurts just as bad everytime this team fails. Good memories of this franchise come few and far between but the common bond among all us fans is the misery the Jets inflict on us year after year. After 4 decades, it's time for change. Consider this an open letter to both Mr. Woody Johnson, and Mr. Bill Cowher. Woody: For years we've shown all the dedication in the world for this team to be rewarded with nothing. If you have half the dedication to the Jets that we as fans do, you will outbid any team in the league and give coach Cowher an offer that is too good to refuse. Give him anything he wants, just get him, period. Anything less is a let down and proof that dollars and cents outweigh the opportunity to end the suffering of the loyal fanbase. Coach Cowher: We beg of your help. We cannot handle another abysmal season. You and your regime can turn this franchise around. The team is built to win. The talent is there, but the coaching is not. You can bring us the trophy! Join us and do what only 1 other coach in Jets history has done and that's bringing a championship to New York. We're tired of being second class citizens to the Giants. End the suffering and WIN with us!
