Make 'parent with child' parking spaces ONLY for parents with children

This petition is for all those parents that shop at their local tesco who have problems finding parent and child parking spaces because ignorant lazy folk without children park in them.

Just the other day myself and my mother (with my two yongers brother both 1 and 2) went to tesco and ended up circling around 3 times looking for a parent and child parking space. at last we saw a free space....and the person in front of us took it. We then watch as she got out of her nice new expensive car, locked the door and procceded into the shop to get her shopping done. We stopped our car and told her that we needed the space more then her since we have two children and she has none, the woman just looked at us in disgust. eventually we parked our car (in a regular space) we struggled to get the childen out and we took the womans number plate and asked at reception if this woman would move her car. They told us that they can't stop these people from using the spaces and therefore could not ask her to move. even after we filled out forms to get the special parent and child badge to display in our car window saying we COULD use these spaces, they would not ask this woman who did not have a badge to move.

I'm sure many of you out there have experienced the same problem and i think it is time that people parking in these spaces without children be delt with accordingly. In many places you can be fined for being in a disabled space without displaying a badge, i'm not asking that these people be fined, i'm just asking that the people at tesco will make these people move from the spaces when a complaint such as ours is made. Its not too much to ask. I'm sure if we parked beside this woman in a regular space and we accidentally scratched her door while attepting to get the little ones out she would be livid and ask "why did you not use one of the parent and child spaces?"

We ask the people at Tesco to start doing the right thing and take parent with child parking more seriously, we want the ignorant folk who take up these spaces to be removed so our shopping trips will become easier. Its not too much to ask. Why not step your excellent customer service up a notch and actually help those with children have an easier time parking.
