This petition is aimed towards the Ministry of Education in Malta. I believe that Systems of Knowledge (a.k.a. SOK) should be removed as a prerequisite for entry into the University of Malta but should remain as an optional subject within the MATSEC Guidelines.

Instead of countless hours spent doing the SOK project and studying for SOK, these should be spent on the subjects that are actually useful to the student's future course.

I don't think SOK is a waste of time. People should know what democracy means and the rest of it but i think it goes too much in detail and when u have alevels it is the last thing u want to study. make it optional!!!

I strongly believe that SOK shouldn't be compulsory but optional. My friend chose Chemistry and Maths (A-levels) and did his A-levels. However he failed in SOK and so didn't enter university which is quite unfair as he got both his A-levels Grade A. Now h
