Marching Band/Drum Corps on TV

Dear ESPN,
Over the years you have enlightened many viewers with your wide selection of shows from football highlights to spelling bees. The content is aired on your station is seen by many people, no doubt. However, we marching band members think it is time for us to receive more televised attention for the tremendous amount of time and effort we put into our activity. We greatly appreciated the DCI broadcast, but we ask for a small block of your time to air BOA, TOB, or some of the many other marching circuit highlights. Perhaps something as simple as even a Band of the Week title could be aired. As there are many band members and marching enthusiasts around the nation who would be galvanized the opportunity to view great marching bands on television, airing marching would be beneficially provide you a wide spectrum of new viewers. By seizing the opportunity to broadcast this sport and art, you will become the first station to have something such as the marching hour, you could receive large profits from this departure, particularly as this would catch the interest of band directors, band parents, band members, band enthusiasts, and the friends of band members alike. It would truly open up a new door in the history of this art, and you would be blazing the trail for marching bands to share their music, drill, talent, and effort.
