Medicare seniors fight back

Don't be fooled by the subject seniors are living it now
but you must remember some day as a senior you to will
live it.
Are you not able to live a normal life because you don't
have use of your arms and legs, you have heart
problems or breathing problems?
Do you lack mobility can't walk to do the things you still
want to but can't? Do you know that medicare will provide
a power chair if you qualify? Yes they will help you
to move around your home, and many of you know this.
A power scooter will help you get out in that fresh air, to
join family outings and many of the things you once took
for granted. Medicare don't care if you can do these things
The only concern they have is that you can move around
in your home.
Let me explain how this works as I have been trying for
weeks to obtain permission for a power scooter, I have
COPD and I'm sure there are many more of you that also
do taking each breath sometime torture for us. I also am
a widow living alone . A scooter breaks down into three or
four pieces so that it is light enough for now for me to
load or unload.
This is where I explain what you can do for me others like
me, others like me, and one day maybe yourself.
While medicare will except COPD, and will ok a wheel chair
they do not recognize COPD or my doctors prescription
to obtain a power scooter..
We have a reason to fight to make our Goverment see and
realize that an injustice is being done to us, and our
Social Security dollars. Medicare will pay I'm told up to
$5,000. for a power chair which can run up to $6,299.
Scooters start at $1,256.00and run up to $4,725
The results are that medicare will allow me $3,744. to
obtain that chair but they won't save $3,744. so I can
enjoy life as much as possible by owning a scooter.
