Whereas Michael McCrary gave completely of himself on the football field while representing the Baltimore Ravens;
Whereas Michael McCrary gave completely of himself off the football field and to the communities in and around Baltimore;
Whereas Michael McCrary played at a high level and achieved status as one of the top players in the game of football;
Whereas Michael McCrary was one of the key members of the 2000 World Champion and Super Bowl XXXV winners;
Whereas Michael McCrary has proven to be an outstanding citizen of the Baltimore area by every measure;
We, the undersigned fans of the National Football League and Baltimore Ravens, do hereby request that the Baltimore Ravens honor Michael McCrary with inclusion into the Ring of Honor in Ravens Stadium. We request that Mr. McCrary receive this honor during the half time period of a home game during the 2003 season.
We request this in an effort to let Michael know how much we appreciate the effort he put forth on the football field and in our community. His relentless pursuit of excellence on the football field and his tireless effort to help in our community has not gone unnoticed.
