Microsoft should implement the following:
The ability to install and use Microsoft Windows XP on Xbox 360 (similar to installing Linux on a Sony Playstation 3)
The ability to use an external usb drive (of our own) to install Microsoft Windows XP on
Implementing these will require Microsoft to:
Update the Xbox 360 firmware
Create a patch allowing Microsoft Windows XP to run on the Xbox 360 platform
Release Windows XP drivers for all of the Xbox 360 hardware
We believe this is a win-win situation for both Microsoft and the consumer. Microsoft will be able to sell more Xbox 360's and more copies of Microsoft Windows XP. We believe this would put Microsoft far ahead of Sony in terms of a fully functional computer in the living room.
