We are signing this petition to show you how many people feel they have been left down by the Gardaн' actions towards them soley because they drive a modified car.
We feel aggrieved that we have been singled out and have had an unwarrented media campain against us. We also feel that members of the Garda Siochana have used foul and abusive language towards us, discriminated against us on the basis of our age and by the cars that we drive.
We also feel that members of the Gardai simply "make up" their own laws when roaring at us at the side of the road, they are quite clearly uneducated in traffic law and this makes them condescending and unhelpful.
We also have lost faith in our protectors as currently the theft of modified cars in Ireland is rift and we believe the Gardai are not doing enough to combat this.

The vast majority of modified car owners are not and do not wish to be referred to as boy/girl racers. We spend a great deal of time and money on our cars and i feel we should be applauded for our commitment not discriminated against.
