As of February 24, 2005 a bill is being considered by the University of Rhode Island Faculty Senate stating that Military Recruitment should be banned from the University campus due to the discrimination policies of the United States Military. The University has an anti-discrimination policy and if this bill is passed we firmly believe that by signing this bill you will be upholding this policy.
The Undersigned are in strong support of this bill. Please consider the thoughts and concerns of the faculty, staff and the students of the University when you make your decision.
