Miramichi Skateboard Park Committee needs to become more BIKER Friendly
There are plans, designed by cyclists for a new ramp in the Miramichi Skateboard Park. That with the current design will allow ALL users to use the ramp. There is a small population of supportive users that have decided to begin a petition to have the ramp changed to their design.
This new design will eliminate the ability for BIKERS to use this ramp, that they originally thought of and designed.
BIKERS have been a very large and supportive group of users at the Miramichi Skateboard Park in the recent years, and have helped to make The "Summer Kick-Off Jam Session" (1 and 2) and also the "No Boards Allowed Jam Session" (2005) some, if not the MOST Successful competitions in the Parks History, and also some of the Largest attended Bike Park events in Atlantic Canada.
The Miramichi Skateboard Park Committee needs to become more BIKER friendly, and show that they are thinking of the users who have used the park and attended events, making the events very successful, and helping the Skateboard Park to make a donation to a local non-profit organization.
