Move our School Bus Stop Back to Lassiter Terrace

At the commencement of the 2009-2010 school year, the Lassiter Terrace bus stops serving route L377 to Robert Hopkins Public School where consolidated and move to the southbound side of Ogilvie Road at Lassiter Terrace. Approximately 14 students in grades JK to 4, their parents, and other high school aged students waiting for another school route, wait in this location
We consider this location to be dangerous to the young children waiting here, and vehicles using the Lassiter Terrace intersection, for the following reasons:
Students and parents at this stop obscure the approaching southbound traffic for vehicles leaving Lassiter Terrace, causing the potential for a multiple vehicle collision.
Students and parents are located in close proximity to heavy traffic consisting of numerous school buses, delivery vehicles and commuters, often travelling in excess of the posted speed restrictions.
There is limited space between the curb and the fence at the rear of the sidewalk. This becomes even narrower during the winter when roadside snow banks start being created. These snow banks often obscure oncoming traffic adding waiting school children into the mix is reckless endangerment.
We respectfully request that the L377 Route Bus Stop be moved back on to Lassiter Terrace as it has been for many years previously.

It seems strange to me that a bus stop in a quiet street where a school bus picks up from and drops off has been changed in favour for a bus stop on a busier street. THIS BUS STOP needs to be moved back to where it was.
