Muslims Against Terrorism

We, the Muslims, are deeply saddened by the horrific attacks in Mumbai, India and we offer our deep condolence to the affected families.

We, true followers of Islam, condemn all acts of innocent killing. We are tired of misguided individuals using name of our religion for their own political or who-knows-what ambitions. These criminals should be brought to Justice.

*Any act of harming or killing innocent People is totally against what Islam stands for, no matter who is responsible.
...if someone kills another person, it is as if he had murdered all mankind. And if anyone gives life to another person, it is as if he had given life to all mankind... (Qur'an, 5:32)

*Islam teaches us to be good to Neighbors -
.. Be good to your parents and relatives and to orphans and the very poor, and to neighbors who are related to you and neighbors who are not related to you, and to companions and travelers and your slaves. Allah does not love anyone vain or boastful. (Qur'an, 4:36)

*Islam teaches us to be Just and we believe in being Just
O You who believe! Show integrity for the sake of Allah, bearing witness with justice. Do not let hatred of a people incite you into not being just. Be just. That is closer to faith. and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is Aware of what you do. (Qur'an, 5:8)

*Islam teaches us not to cause trouble on the Planet and we believe that those who are causing trouble are misguided
When they are told, "Do not cause mischief on the earth," they say, "We are reformers." Unquestionably, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realize (it) not. . (Qur'an, 2:11-12)

We urge everyone, including the media and the political leadership, not to help these terrorists in their distorted mission by associating their heinous acts to Islam.
