The National Animal Identification System (NAIS) is a system the government is implementing in order to keep track of every single animal in the US. Every homeowner with any livestock animals will be subjected to a 7-digit USDA ID number and every animal must be micro chipped. The animals location will be tracked using the GPS system, and the owners have 24 hours to report a death, missing animals, lost and replaced ID tags, and every time the animals leave and return to the residence.
As residents of the United States of America, we must fight to protect our freedom, which includes being able to own animals without the government having to keep track on each and every one of them. To me, this is a serious crime against our freedom. We should come together to stop this system from being implemented.
