This petition is a show of the voices of Americans who are tired of the high gas prices we are all facing. Your signature is your pledge to abstain from purchasing gasoline for the two dates specified below. It is our goal to have the publics outrage to Gasoline price Gouging be acknowledged. And to let our government and the large gas companies know our position on the matter.
Simply spread the word to all you know about the petition and dates of boycott listed below. Participation of the nation would be a voice heard. We have large oil companies boasting about their profits yet We The People are the ones to suffer. I urge you to show your support and help make this a successful event.
We need Washington and the large oil companies to know we will not stand for this any more. There are stops the government can place but they have failed to address rising gasoline costs. Meanwhile the average American budget is stressed and over drafted causing other necessities to be cut back or foregone.
Americans Unite and display your stand by avoiding the pumps these dates. Be heard! Boycott! Dates of boycott are September 15th & 16th of 2005.
