The standard of the referees in the second division lately has been somewhat abysmal. It also seems that these people referee divisions one and three games also, and some even in the top flight!! As a follower of a second division club who attends home and away games, i have seen some truly woeful decisions this season, and it just seems to get worse and worse! I know a lot of followers from other clubs have complained for the same reason and a lot of fans feel it is time something was done about it. So i hope the football league will realise how poor the standards of refereeing is in nationwide football and take a closer look.

The standard or refs has been poor this season in div 2 awful and woeful at times, the only good ref i have seen is halsey and he is a prem ref i know, just shows the difference.

as of date, we (wigan) have had 9 players sent off, many very dubious, 8 of which were away, usually at "bigger" clubs,ie west ham,west brom,ipswich etc, coincedence ?? doubt it, especially where mr prosser is concerned.
