On the 6th of June 1976 a tragic plane crashed at Sembulan took away the life of Sabah Chief Minister Tun Fuad Stephens together with several Cabinet Ministers and others.

The Double SixЇ tragedy had deprived the Natives of Sabah, a great leader in the person of Datuk Peter J. Mojuntin. A book about him was written by the late DAP Leader Bernard Sta Maria entitled The Golden Son of the KadazanЇ which was subsequently banned by the BN government on the ground that the book threatened peace and order.

Now the Natives of Sabah must urge the BN Government to lift the ban of the book with immediate effect as the book talked about the struggle of the late Peter J Mojuntin, his commitment, and his dreams and visions for the people especially the natives of Sabah. This book is very important and inspiring and must be read by the younger generation.

If the ban on the book The Malay DilemmaЇ written by Tun Dr. Mahathir Bin Mohamed the former Prime Minister of Malaysia can be lifted, there is no reason the same could not be done for The Golden Son of the Kadazan.

We, the undersign urge the BN government to practice its 1Malaysia concept and lift the ban on this book The Golden Son of the kadazan with immediate effect.
