New York Times Bias on Middle East Reporting

We, the undersigned, are against your pro-Israel bias in your reporting and view this bias as disruptive to the informing of the American public regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This bias is reflected in your editorials and also your regular news reporting. Invariably, you depict the Palestinians as the main proponents of violence, even though they are subject to a brutal military occupation. In late 2004, on your front page, you displayed a picture of a suicide bombing inside Israel in which some 14 people were killed. We do regard this as a brutal act, yet, when, in October 2004, 80 Palestinians were slaughtered in the bloodiest day in Gaza in over three years, you did not make as much of an issue, though it is obvious who is the main proponent of violence in the Middle East. Obviously, this is not "good" reporting, and we urge you to reconsider your depiction of Israeli-Palestinian violence.
