Nhs is wrong about the definition of Deliberate Self Harm

"Self harm and suicide attempts are not the same thing. Self harm is an attempt to survive overwhelming pain whereas a suicide attempt is an attempt to end life. There needs to be far wider awareness of the issues around self harm."
