No Bridge Tolls In B.C.

- By the under-signed citizens of Surrey, White Rock, Township of Langley, Langley City, Abbotsford, New Westminster, and other jurisdictions north of the Fraser River,
For the purpose of replacing the Port Mann Bridge tolls on the citizens of this province by an Annual License Plate Fee Increase of $40.00 for all small to light weight vehicles registered with the Insurance Corporation fo B.C.'s Autoplan or more for large vehicles,
Due in part to the shift of commercial traffic to the South Fraser Perimeter Highway which has no tolls, threats to the safety levels of the nearby Patullo Bridge, increases to the traffic volume throught New Westminster, and financial loss and reduced standard of living on the citizens mentioned in these communities, while many other communities on the mainland and Vancouver Island have not tolls, and also due to it being an integral part of (Trans) Cansda Highway 1
