Examples of intrusive advertising include but are not limited to: unsolicited e-mail, pop-unders, ad banners with audio, ad banners that don't occupy a standard window (and thus they obstruct the actual web page content), banners with flashing colors or unnecessary "jitteryiness," etc. If your advertisement draws attention to itself through means outside of simply displaying the product, chances are that it is intrusive.
