Seriously guys... what does a half naked girl have to do with computers, hey? And putting a watercooled 8800 into her hand doesn't change anything.
I speak for many many people when i say that the girl on the covers of our favourite mag are really out of place. I remember a few years ago, it was still ok, because the girls were wearing more than a 3 square centimeter bikini and a watercooled 8800. The girls on the covers these days are wearing next to nothing, and it's really getting ridiculous.
We want something related to computers on the cover. A motherboard, a CPU, hell, even a Microsoft Windows Vista Box (last resort though), but we're a bit tired of the girls on the covers.
Many of us hate buying the PCF because we have to walk around with a mag that has some random half naked girl on the cover (of a mag that is geared towards nerds like us).
Even the UK PCF has started putting something else on the cover. Last month's cover of the UK PCF had concept art from some or other game.
Stacey told me herself that she'd like to know more about what the public think about this, and she said herself that she aims to please us, as readers, so this is our plea. Hear us out, please.

I"m a female hardcore gamer and don't need those cover girls. I'm paying money for a good magazine but what does cover girls gain out of it? It has nothing to do with computers and all that stuff so please get rid of the cover girls part...

I have been avidly reading your mag since the days of Mars Mlodzinski (May 1999!) PCF is brilliant and witty --- but I don't want it to turn into T3. No. P.S.: This was the first month that I didn't buy PCF bcoz of the covergirl! Its a sad month.... : (

Look when I first bougt PCF they had this really beautiful girl on the cover and she was dressed quite well and I had no problem with the whole thing untill it started looking like FHM.

instead of the softcore porn, get some real content. Instead of just syndicating, do some real journalism and give us the skinny on whats hot and whats not in the tech world, or is the generally low IQ at PCF/NAG too limiting a factor?
