THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A WIND CHILL ADVISORY FOR EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA, NEW JERSEY, DELAWARE, AND NORTHEASTERN MARYLAND FOR TONIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY MORNING.
STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS 20 TO 30 MILES AN HOUR WILL CONTINUE INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS, BUT DIMINISH TO 10 TO 15 MILES AN HOUR EARLY MONDAY MORNING. COMBINED WITH VERY COLD TEMPERATURES, WIND CHILL VALUES WILL APPROACH 15 BELOW ZERO OVER THE SOUTHERN POCONOS, THE LEHIGH VALLEY, AND NORTHERN NEW JERSEY. WIND CHILL VALUES WILL APPROACH 10 BELOW ZERO ELSEWHERE TONIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY.
PEOPLE WHO FIND IT NECESSARY TO VENTURE OUTSIDE SHOULD WEAR MULTIPLE LAYERS OF CLOTHING, GLOVES AND A HAT TO GUARD AGAINST FROSTBITE. LIMIT OUTDOOR TIME TO A MINIMUM TO PREVENT HYPOTHERMIA. PETS WHO ARE KEPT OUTDOORS WILL REQUIRE, AT A MINIMUM, A STRONG AND WELL INSULATED SHELTER TO PROTECT THEM FROM THE COLD, THE WIND AND THE BLOWING SNOW, AS WELL AS ACCESS TO PLENTY OF UNFROZEN WATER....
We believe that schools in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District should not be in session on January 24, 2005. The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School has a outdoors campus where students may get frostbite or hypothermia. Other schools that have one-building campuses are not in session yet we are. We find this to be a poor judgement by the administration and hope they will reconsider.

the roads are terrible... the senor parking lot will be a ice rink with inexperienced drivers and two wheel drive... any roads besides the main ones are in horrible condition.

this is insane that we have school and places such as sommerville and branchburg do not. We are required to go outside after every period of the day, the administration does not, therefore they are not looking at the welfare of the students!
