Olympic Committee and ISU have decided to create a new sport for Olympic games called TEAM SKATING. 8 individuals skaters (2men, 2 women, 1 pair and 1 ice dancers) will compete two times : once for their country and once for theim with same programs.
The goal of Olympic Games should be the discovery of new sports. Team skating already exists, its name is SYNCHRONIZED SKATING ! Even if it's seems to be decided and official for Sotchi, the community of synchronized skating must rebell ! We work for years to figure in Olympic Games, and today, with this decision, ISU show us that we are just nothing, as we don't exist.
Synchronized skating is a real sport and deserves more consideration !
