On January 24th 2007, it was announced that Noah's Arc, the Logo Network original series, would be making a transition from a beloved television hit to a feature film. While this is exciting news, the show's demise as a series after only two seasons on air is upsetting and confusing.
Noah's Arc is a breath of fresh air... one of the few original series still in production addressing the lives of gay men, and the only program in national distribution speaking to the lives of gay black men. In addition, the series has been a commercial and critical success with a loyal, active fan base.
We understand that LOGO is a new network, with no empirical data of viewership of the show other than sales of season one on DVD and as downloads on I-Tunes. It is therefore our intention with this online petition to let you know that Noah's Arc is a popular and important series that does not deserve cancellation.
