NONE OF THE ABOVE on the ballot

This petition is for Elections Canada to add "none of the above" to all election ballots in Canada. It is not a true representation of democracy when voting Canadians are forced to chose one of the candidates offered / supplied to them on the ballot. What if a person wishes to exercise their democratic right to vote but supports none of the candidates on the ballot as their representative ? Canadians should be allowed to vote "none of the above" as a vote of non confidence for any of the candidates offered. Elections Canada should count all the "none of the above" votes and publish the results to show true representation of Canadian election choices, popularity of our elected officials / government and true representation of the Canadian population. When you have a limited choice on the ballot and you are forced to vote for the lesser of the evils represented it does not mean you wish any of the evils to represent you.
