OutKast unreleased demos and appreciation

Our main aim from this petition is to try and establish any kind of dialogue with OutKast; it must be difficult to believe with all the fame and fortune that real fans are still around whom still respect OutKast for the deeper side to their music and not the pop sensations they have became through the public eye. There is such respect for them that even two of the Dungeon Familys members post on what is now the last place for Outkast fans to hang and discuss the group (www.stankonia.com). Newer recruit KED (Kadar Israel) and more seasoned member Peaches post and discuss with the DF fans. It is unusual these days to find any hip hop group with a community that thrives, there is almost no loyalty in the bling game, but here there is and they recognize the group for their true merit outside of the pop culture.

In a post recently KED mentioned the existence of unreleased hard demos of some of Outkasts ATLiens and Southernplayalistic material that were changed at the request of La Face. (See below)

The 'Kast used to record songs over and over again. the original versions of most of the songs they did back in the day (southernplaya/atliens days) was too harsh for laface and they'd make them change it. Like "2 Dope Boys (In A Cadillac)". on the original version Dre was goin' hard... He ended up with the "look boy, I ain't for that fuck shit so fuck this, let me explain only child style so you don't miss" verse. Stuff like that is bound to happen when you have record labels involved.

There are many people on the Stankonia.com boards who would love to hear these recordings, this is another aim of this petition, to get these released. There is nothing like Dre and Big hitting your speakers hard with a raw verse, even though the ATLiens and Southernplayalistic verses were amazing anyway one can only imagine how good they were before the forced changes.

Many people know of OutKast as the "nice", slightly cheesy pop/ rap group living deep within mainstream culture with the likes of the Black Eyed Peas and Nelly but now its time to show that Outkast fans exist who dont take Hey Ya for granted as a mindless happy tune who that listen to the verses on Jazzy Belle and feel an image of that woman, whoever she may be, for those who connect with the tales within Da Art of Storytellin'. For those who look past the idea that OutKast consists of the playa and the poet, to understand that there is more to their rapping than a quirky nice nature, to understand that real fans 'Kast are deeper than a page of a book (Andre Benjamin Dont Expect Everything to be Playalistic 1994 (D.E.E.P) This petition is against the stereotype pop culture OutKast fan, and to show to the group that real fans exist.
