Dear Congress,
A show recently aired on Channel 8 news (KLASTV), their was a story on a website (www.huntforbambi.com) who's owner has naked women run around, completely devoid of the necessary safety equipment, trying to avoid getting shot. We would like to let you know that the 7 million people that do play paintball are extremely outraged. We want them to at least have the female participants wear masks. I am unaware if you know this, but if one of the female participants does indeed get shot in the eye, that she can encounter one of the following effects:
1) Loss of vision
2) Brain Damage/Trauma
3) Death
The millions of people that play paintball in the United States are alienated by this. Not only is this website unsafe, but it also portrays paintball's image in a negative light to the masses by displaying a violent, crude, and reckless view of the sport. This unpopular connotation hinders fields, businesses, and players from starting up in communities where they believe paintball is a violent pastime which should be banned at all costs. If this is the way in which paintball is viewed then we can't expect for our sport to be able to grow and prosper without thousands of angered townspeople trying to have it shut down.
The paintball players of America want these people either taken off the internet, and if that can't happen, then at least make the "hunted" wear a mask system and issue an apology to the offended paintballers throughout the USA. The following petition is proof of how many people agree that these people should be shut down:
