People's rights on buying alcohol petition.

After reading about Edinburgh council's plan to stop alcohol promotions within our off licence's and supermarkets I thought enough was enough.

Living in Edinburgh is fantastic but I can't help feeling that Edinburgh council is now becoming a dictatorship and feel that its time for the Edinburger's to stand together and let the local politicians know we won't be dictated to. We have put up with a smoking ban and drinks promotion bans in our pubs and clubs and now we won't be able to have a drink in our own homes without it costing a fortune, we have to draw the line somewhere.

Please feel free to sign this petition so that we can make our voices heard in this argument and not let the politicians make decisions that are based on a very little minority in our society which impacts the majority of social drinkers who inhabit our beautiful city.

We as adults should be able to make the right freedom of choice for ourselves and stop this never ending ridiculous dictatorship by our local council.
