It was recently announced that the Pet Shop Boys album 'Nightlife' would be joining the series of re-issued studio albums released in 2001. This will be the seventh studio album to be remastered and re-issued with a bonus 'Further Listening' CD. Many avid fans have been delighted by the content of past 'Further Listening' CDs (which include demos of popular songs, unreleased material, and remixes of old favourites) and are eagerly awaiting the 2004 edition of 'Nightlife.'
We, the undersigned Pet Shop Boys fans, feel that this series of re-issued CDs could only be enhanced by the re-issue of the album 'Relentless.' 'Relentless' originally appeared as a limited edition companion CD to the 1993 mega-pop masterpiece 'Very' and is becoming increasingly difficult for new fans of the Pet Shop Boys to locate. Furthermore, as the limited number of copies originally produced wear out from frequent use, it would be practical to re-issue a digitally remastered 'Relentless' for even the most die-hard fans.
Due to the unique nature of 'Relentless,' it has no b-sides. The matter of a 'Further Listening' CD could easily be solved by the accompaniment of a catch all disc titled 'Even Further Listening.' 'Even Further Listening' would be an ideal venue for fans old and new to be treated to frequently requested songs not currently commercially available. Some SUGGESTIONS for tracks that could be included are:

All my wasted time (aka Bubadubadubadum)
All or nothing (demo)
Hallo Spaceboy (PSB remixes)
In the club or in the queue
It doesnt often snow at Christmas
It couldnt happen here (original demo)

Although 'Even Further Listening' is a Pethead's fantasy, a demand exists for the re-issue of 'Relentless.' We respectfully submit these suggestions for consideration to the Pet Shop Boys, the management team at Pet Shop Boys Partnership, and the management of EMI/Parlophone. Thank you.
