Petition for 96 Rock to Play More New Rock Variety

Recently the triangle lost a great classic rock station in 106.1 RDU. Unfortunately with its passing also came the passing of an equally great modern rock station - 96.1 WBBB. After 106.1 turned to country you tried to take up both the roll of both, playing "Everything that Rocks". Unfortunately this slogan is a bit misleading. Although you have added such greats as Iron Maiden to your playlist you have turned its back on an entire new generation of rock.
This petition was formed in order for "we the loyal listeners of 96 rock" and all the rockers and triangle metal heads to inform you that we want to hear more new rock variety and that it's not right for great bands such as System of a Down and Rise Against to go unheard of on local radio. You pretend to still play new rock - by still playing Nickelback and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but even G105 plays Rock Star and Dani California. Despite success on the billboard rock charts the following bands have gone neglected from your playlist: A Perfect Circle, AFI, Army of Anyone, Avenged Sevenfold, Blink 182, Breaking Benjamin, Deftones, KoRn, lostprophets, Matiyashu, Mudvayne, Muse, MxPx, My Chemical Romance, Papa Roach, P.O.D., Rancid, Sum 41, Slipknot, Rise Against, Sevendust, Snow Patrol, and System of a Down among others.
"We the loyal listeners of 96 Rock" have therefore taken it upon ourselves to inform you how we feel about the lack of diversity on your playlist. We ask that if you're going to play "Everything that Rocks" you will not only give us Dio but the Deftones as well.
