We the undersigned, mindful of our right and duty to preserve the interest of the rock group Night Ranger, do hereby petition the Nominating Committee of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to nominate and induct the aforementioned into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Night Ranger long considered one of the most successful recording bands in the 1980s, have left their mark on that moment in time with 5 best selling albums. Those albums include Dawn Patrol, Midnight Madness, 7 Wishes, Big Life and Man in Motion and combined went on to sell over 10 million albums worldwide. The also had a string of the decades most recognizable songs including Sister Christian, (You Can Still) Rock in America, When You Close Your Eyes, Sentimental Street, Dont Tell Me You Love Me and Restless kind, just to name a few.
Night Rangers first 4 albums made billboards Top 40 chart with 7 Wishes reaching the Top 10 in June of 1985. They also had two top 10 singles in the US with Sister Christian reaching #5 and Sentimental Street reaching #8.
Their inspiration and dedication to their fans is unsurpassed and continues today. By signing this petition, we are making a request to the Nominating Committee to hear, and act immediately upon our collective voice of reason and to support our commitment to this band by nominating and inducting, Night Ranger into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
