The signatures below represent the voices of the student body who wish to see Professor Reid Blackman return as part of the Colgate University faculty. The students whose signatures appear below, from all four class years, have either taken a course with Professor Blackman or would seek the opportunity to do so in the future. Not only is Professor Blackman known for his intellect, but there are few professors who have shown such dedication to their field and such a relentless passion for teaching. Colgate would lose a PHENOMENAL asset to its faculty if Professor Blackman does not return. Professor Blackman is ALWAYS accessible, even outside of office hours, and is always willing to go the extra mile to help a student in need. Every class with Professor Blackman is never the same and many students agree that they have become smarter after finishing a class with Professor Blackman. The purpose of a Colgate education is to provide its students with the best education possible with all the necessary skills to succeed beyond the Colgate experience. By granting Professor Blackman the opportunity to remain at Colgate, the University will be helping to fulfill its mission of providing students with a world-class education, fascilitated by the world's leading scholars. Please heed the voices of the signatures below and allow Professor Blackman to remain a valued member of the Colgate faculty as long as possible.
