Petition for the Independence of Stephen

We the undersigned have enjoyed Stephen L.'s company thoroughly.
We however protest the egregious grounding time that has been bestowed upon him.
In the past 17 years has no punishment so harsh been bestowed upon him for a mistake he has already learned from.
In times past guardians have deprived offspring of recreative activities, but rarely have gone to the extreme of depriving access to a senior's high school homecoming.
We, the friends of Stephen L., feel that that his punishment has affected all of our extracurricular activities and enjoyments and desire a shortened, if not terminated, grounding experience.
This punishment, while not undeserved, is far too extreme for a young man with such tenacity and charisma.

We the undersigned petition that Stephen L.'s punishment be shortened, and Stephen be allowed to enjoy such activities such as High School Homecoming, Sports games, Beach Week, and any other activity that could affect his and his friends' happiness, as well as enjoyment of those activities.

We the undersigned petition that Stephen L.'s manumission be restored.
