"Utterly shameful prices. I'm paying 56 a week in Plymouth. Four sharing with 1 shared facilities, but its fine. 85 a week is extortionate. You could get a 3 bedroomed house for that probably furnished."
"stop ripping us off!"
"Its really not done...."
"what a disgrace these prices are"
"The 51 week contract being offered at the moment is not only ridiculous, but also not required by many students. If the offer of a 40 week contract is available elsewhere in the country, why is it not available in The Heights, as the properties are owned "
"Student accomodation should be affordable NOT more than student loans"
"I totally agree with the petition, it's is such a joke that they expect us to pay so much!!!!"
"contracts a scam, rent out me own house an i dnt rip mans off like this"
"its a rip off"
"I'm annoyed about the fact that they don't give us the choice to choose, I was anyway going for the 53week contract"
"your messing up my education im skint"
"heights is ripoff"
"We should not be forced to pay these extortionate amounts, especially when you consider the service currently being provided by Heights is unsatisfactory, for example, being told by reception that they signed for my parcel, however it has since been lost "
"quack"
"give the people what they want!!!"
"Expensive and slow internet"
"I think its obsurd to expect students to pay for that length of time, especially as they know that we are most likely to not be there over the holiday periods which the summer alone is about 12 weeks or so! It's disgusting!"
"I think its extortionate how much students are expected to pay, and may ultimately lead to students resulting to other means of earning income - which may be illegal. Unite Group Plc may be directly responsible for crime rates increasing around The Height"
"Had the same problem in Manchester while I was studying there"
