There needs to be a disc golf course in Naples, Florida. Disc golf has a strong following and has a worldwide competetive tour complete with professional players. The PDGA (Professional Disc Golf Association) has been around for almost 50 years and has thousands of members.
Disc golf is one of the fastest growing outdoor sports in America. There are over 3000 courses nationwide and 72 in the state of Florida alone. The #1 retail store in the WORLD is located in Clearwater, Florida as does 15-time world champion, Ken Climo.
Naples, Florida is a top #3 golf destination, why does it lack a disc golf course? The land is there and so are the players. The city of Bonita has a course but it is in dire shape. The course is only 12 holes and surrounded by a tall fence, lake and houses.
Please take your time to consider including a disc golf course in the near future.
