PETITION TO HAVE COUNCILOR MAUREEN BOLDTS SEAT ON CITY COUNCIL RESERVED
We, the undersigned, are aware of Councilor Boldts current situation and are in agreement that she ought to, by Council, be granted an extension until mid-February, so that she may return to her seat on Council and continue to represent the interests of the citizens of North Bay. We are aware that Council has the discretion to do so
Section 259.(1) (c)
The office of a member of Council of a Municipality becomes vacant if the member, (c) is absent from the meetings of Council for three successive months without being authorized to do so by a resolution of Council.
