We, the undersigned, constituents of the York University Graduate Students Association (YUGSA), call upon the Board of Referenda Commissioners (BORC) to approve a referendum to be held in the Winter 2009 term, asking YUGSA constituents for approval of the following proposal:
Currently, the York University Graduate Students' Lounge receives a student levy of $2.00 per term for full-time graduate students and $1.00 per term for part-time graduate students. Do you agree to an increase to the Graduate Students' Lounge levy by $3.00 per term for a total levy of $5.00 per term for full-time graduate students and an increase of $1.50 per term for a total of $2.50 per term for part-time graduate students; adjusted annually to increase or decrease in accordance with the Toronto Consumer Price Index?
