Petiton from Alberta Bussiness Owners and Their Employees

We, the undersigned business owners, employers, and workforce of the Province of Alberta, hereby address the Premiere of the Province of Alberta, the Honorable Alison Redford, and the Minister of Human Services, the Honorable Manmeet S. Bhullar, to petion the following:

-Help Alberta businesses by creating new programs to allow Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs) to remain in Alberta permanently.

-Help to expidite the issuance of positive Labour Market Opinions (LMOs).

-Help to expedite the processing and issuance of work permits for Temporary Foreign Workers from abroad for Alberta companies.

Albertan and Canadian comapnies alike are struggling to effectiely grow their businesses and meet market demands. The Temporary Foreign Worker program allows businesses to meet ready market demands and increase their productivity. This in turn helps stimulate the economy and create more job opportunities for all Albertan and Canadians as a whole.
