We are all fans of the Peabody Award Winning television series Mystery Science Theater 3000. We are all well aware that sometime in 2003 you will lose the rights to show re-runs of Saturday Night Live, which take up well over 35 hours of your weekly programming. We are writing this to ask that you take the following into consideration: Think about bringing back old episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000. We are also well aware that most episodes are costly due to the movies shown in them. We offer the following suggestions: First of all, you might want to do trial showings much like you've done in the past with numerous shows with the few episodes you are able to air. Also as you are probably aware, some of the films shown in the episodes are public domain. Second, maybe a deal with Best Brains Inc. or Rhino Home Video would also be cost-efficient in helping to air most if not all the episodes on your station. In conclusion, we ask that you again take this into consideration, as well as the possibility of regaining a fan base which has since multiplied into the millions since it first left Comedy Central, and also the additions of people who have yet to see it for the first time.
