We, the undersigned fans of Juventus FC ask you to not prolong the current contract with Alessandro Del Piero.
There is only one reason for such request, as with this useless, sluggish and old player teams attack can not be in progress. We do apologize for such words, but these adjectives characterize the present (and over the last 2 years) performances of this striker.
The fans do hope vainly to see new, young and promising players, among them Del Piero as a person with a pull, seems to be an obstacle for their future grow and progress. The last cases with Palladino, Giovinco and Diego just confirm the aforesaid.
Having such old and slow striker as Del Piero, even on the bench ( but he always wants to be on the pitch), is rather hard to expect victories and teams progress. Del Pieros age indicates that his time to perform on high level has gone irretrievably, his game only confirms this.
We are sure, that his presence in team as well as his special status have a negative impact over other players, especially strikers.
All fans do expect to see new, young and motivated team the next season. We are ready to ignore and forget all the current failures and defeats, we want to believe that our new stadium will be a symbol of up-to-date, growing and strong team, able to forget her past failures and mistakes, that were in hand of her captain Alessandro Del Piero.
The most up-to-date football means speed, technique and fitness, three qualities that can not be achieved, when Alessandro Del Piero is on the pitch.
Please believe us, that Juventuss fans really got exhausted, expecting one-two strikers at least, of quality.
The fans do expect new leaders, able to bring victories and grow. There is only one indispensable condition for such progress - a team spirit, without shades of the past.
