PROJECT BYE CAGE!
Liberate Our BIRDS
Join the campaign to collect signatures and help release the birds in captivity!

The planet is a beautiful place, no one doubts. Life surrounds it and is dependent on it as well. The birds, probably originated in a group of reptiles during the Jurassic period (Mesozoic era) makes about 200 million years, are the only beings with the body covered with feathers. But what sense are the wings for a bird caged?

Human beings with all their intelligence has decided to cage the birds for recreation and convenience. It has established research centers that study and investigate the origin and destination of birds, but has also created slow extermination centres and cages / confines
them to prison for life. The evolution of human beings has resulted in a process in which exercises a dominant position on other life forms. This fact, coupled with its ability to amend or even completely alter the environment, has put many species on the brink of extinction.

It is time to create a change of conscience in humanity by giving
freedom to all birds that are confined. This release would be made on a case by case basis and through a responsible advisory committee. Its time to unravel all the networks that smuggle birds and prevent them from buying and selling in world markets.
In the world there are about 8700 species, although there could be more. The greatest concentration is in South America. But where are they? We do not see them flying free on grasslands or forests, or squares. It is not often we see birds with showy plumage in cities. To date, since the year 1500, including the last "dodo" who disappeared in 1681, there are 128 bird species extinct, plus 22 other possibly extinct, which are included as a hypothetical because it is questioned on its validity as a species. A few have disappeared for natural reasons, but most have succumbed as a result of competition or the destruction of man or other human interference.
The love for birds includes respect for their lives and their freedom. As it is not possible to avoid the natural march of progress, at least try to avoid as much as possible the damage it causes.
If you agree to be part of this movement Bye Cage! (Chau Jaula) please send your name to our e-mail and all those who can, and sign the petition online.

Thank you for fostering Change!

Clarification: The Project Bye Cage! is not promoting an indiscriminate release of animals in captivity. Many of them exist today thanks to the efforts of reserves and sanctuaries. The intention is to halt the marketing of caged birds and the scheduled release, according to each case, those in captivity as pets. The term "pet" should be used only for dogs and cats.
