Proposed City of Toronto Land Use in the Town of Ajax

We the undersigned are against the proposed use by the City of Toronto for the parcel of land in the Region of Durham, Town of Ajax, Ward 1, known as Brock South. We in no way want this land used for a proposed organic waste site by the City of Toronto, now or in the future. We feel this use of the land, and the proposed 110,000 tonnes of compost waste that it will contain, is detrimental to our Region, Municipality, Ward, and environment.
We direct the councils of the Region of Durham and the Town of Ajax to do everything in their power to prevent this from happening. We request that the Ontario Municipal Board uphold our wishes and not allow any motion or appeal by the City of Toronto that supports and/or allows the abovementioned land use.
