Protect the Walnut Street Bridge

We, residents and visitors of Chattanooga and Hamilton County, believe that the construction of the proposed hotel next to the historic Walnut Street Bridge will destroy the views and vistas that both residents and visitors treasure.

We believe that the proposed hotel is not appropriate for the site and is out of character with Coolidge Park and the
Walnut Street Bridge.

We believe that the North Shore Design Review Committee wrongly approved this development and request that the Board of Zoning Appeals overturn their decision.

We request that local officials take action to ensure that Coolidge Park and the Walnut Street Bridge are protected from the encroachment of future developments.
