you are shocked by the shameful silence of the government and its allies following the Tehelka expose. If you feel that Indian democracy has been reduced to a farce because a chief minister who sanctioned a genocide and those who joined hands with him are roaming free. If you feel ashamed of the feeble noises and the ensuing silence on the part of political parties even after several of the perpetrators confessed their guilt on camera. If you are despairing over the impotence of the so-called progressive peoples parties that prevents them from mobilizing a mass movement against the writers of one of the most shameful chapters in independent Indias history
The Supreme Court must immediately set up a special investigative team to probe the role of Narendra Modi, his administration and the state police in the heinous killings.
Those who were caught on camera, gloating over the part they played in the genocide, must be immediately arrested. If they are serving officials they must be suspended.
The pending cases of Naroda Patiya, Gulbarg Society etc must be reinvestigated by an independent agency
The Central government must abandon cheap political considerations and carry out its constitutional duty to right the wrong done to innocent citizens under its watch
