Purchase/Consume Alcohol at age 18 (US)

By being 18 years of age I am a legal adult, able to live on my own, die for my country & vote; so why can't I drink?!?

Drunk driving is not an adolescent behavior or tendency. By lowering the drinking age I believe that this conflict will be slightly resolved or unaltered. By learning how to drink at a proper age, the number of victims injured/killed by drunk drivers each year will decrease or remain unaltered.

I resent the fact that I have to be 21 years of age or older to buy/consume alcohol!
