Here in the State of Ohio (and in 31 other States and the District of Columbia), the age of sexual consent is not eighteen but sixteen. This means the crime of statutory rape (in Ohio, "unlawful sexual conduct with a minor") can only be prosecuted when the victim is less than sixteen years of age. In Ohio Mark Chmura would not even have been charged, much less acquitted! Sign this petition to support raising the age of consent in Ohio to 18 like in Wisconsin.

Yes, I hate Ohio, but I believe that they should raise the age in all states to 18..16 year olds aren't mature enough..
