Re-Open the Windlestrae Park Disk Golf Course

In 2007, after several years of planning and discussion, the Montgomery
Township Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the funding and installation of a Disc Golf Course at Windlestrae Park at a cost of over $20,000. In December, an independent Environmental consulting firm studied the course and determined that the Disc Golf Project did not have any adverse affects to wetlands/waters of the United States. Now the current Board of Supervisors, by a vote of 3 against 2, has arbitrarily removed the remaining holes on the course and called for more environmental studies at even more cost to the taxpayers of Montgomery Township.
We urge the Board of Supervisors to reverse their decision and fully
implement the original design of the disc golf course so that we, as members of this community, can enjoy our form of recreation just as other people at Windlestrae are permitted to enjoy theirs and stop having our taxpayer money wasted.
I support disc golf at Windlestrae.
