RECALL JUDGE LORNA ALKSNE MCKELLAR
She takes child molesters off the Child Abuse Central Index and allows them to prey on children in Poway and other neighborhoods!
Damon, now 13 years old, has been bravely reporting sexual, physical and emotional abuse by his father, Eric, which began at the age of four and went on for many years [see Damons declaration], despite threats to kill him and his mom if he told. The police put Eric on the Child Abuse Central Index and CPS ordered supervised visits. Then it was transferred to Family Court where the abuse was covered up.
Judge Alksne wont even do the minimum required by law (Family Code 3118) to investigate the abuse and wont allow a trial or permit Damon to testify. She took him away from his loving, protective mother and forced him into reunification therapy with his named abuser, where he was pressured to recant the abuse and live with his abuser.
Since Damon wont recant the abuse and refuses to live with his named abuser, Judge Alksne has threatened to send him to a camp to convince him the abuse did not really happen. Or even worse: force him into the custody and control of the man who he says sexually abused and threatened to kill him for many years.
Thousands of people have shown their support for Damon through media and email campaigns and petitions, but Judge Alksne still will not listen to or protect him. There have been many other children endangered by Judge Alksne and other judges whom she supervises.
When judges dont listen to children, sex offenders are allowed to walk free and harm more children. We must exercise our democratic right and recall any judge who endangers children.
