Recount for American Idol

American Idol has millions of viewers watch it each week. There is apossibility that errors in calculation and tabulation may occur - aswell as phone line errors. In lieu of this weeks American Idol ousting,we the viewers of American Idol respectfully demand a recount. We feelthat the results are not accurate to the talent and/or opinions of theaudience who views it.

We ask that you push back the season by a week and allow a replay ofthis week's performances. If the results return the same, then we willaccept the facts. However, failure to allow a recount will result in adrastic drop in ratings, as well as a decline in product sales for theAmerican Idol franchise overall.

We also have particular concerns about a certain contestant. ScottSavol's criminal record is blemished with domestic abuse. While it ispossible for people to change, we feel that it is unfair to thoseremoved in the past for similiar reasons that he is still here and thathe should be removed immediately from the competition. It shouldn'tmatter whether he admitted it upfront or not. Surely people withcriminal records are not who you want to represent FOX or AmericanIdol.

We are your audience and if you lose us, you have nothing. Humor uswith at least a recount if nothing else.
